Also performs dissimilar metal welding, high-strength steel welding, hot-formed steel spot welding, and nut projection welding. Delivers high weld strength and aesthetically pleasing weld points. All Shanghai Haojing wire mesh spot welders feature digital control via a human-machine interface touchscreen for intuitive operation. Machine performance can be expanded through PC programming. Custom fixture designs are available to accommodate diverse workpiece welding requirements, and automated special-purpose machines can be engineered to enhance production efficiency.

The nut electrode assembly comprises an electrode cap, electrode base, floating spring, air-blowing device, and locating pin, with the following functions:
Nut Electrode Cover: Directly contacts the workpiece plate or nut, serving as a conductor and heat sink. Requires excellent electrical conductivity and high softening temperature, typically made of chromium-zirconium copper.
Electrode Base: Supports the electrode, conducting electricity and dissipating heat. Features water cooling at the bottom and gas vents at the top for slag removal, usually crafted from chromium-zirconium copper.
Nut Positioning Pin: Ensures precise concentric alignment between the nut and the plate hole. It must withstand impact forces from placed components, shear forces from lateral nut movement, and high temperatures generated during welding while maintaining good insulation. Common positioning pins include ceramic pins, KCF pins, aluminum oxide pins, and SIM pins, with durability and price increasing in that order.
