Taking beam welding as an example, after receiving the “start welding” command at station 1, two robots simultaneously begin welding operations. The positioner at station 1 changes its motion trajectory according to the command, perfectly coordinating with the welding actions of the two robots. At the same time, manual loading and unloading operations are performed at station 2. After welding at station 1 is completed, the two robots immediately turn to station 2 and begin welding the workpiece at station 2; this process continues in a loop.

A robot workstation mainly consists of a robot and its control system, auxiliary equipment, and other peripheral equipment.
Equipped with a pulse MIG/MAG welding machine, the welding quality requirements are guaranteed.
The coordinated servo positioner and welding torch posture result in good consistency of finished products.
No manual movement is required when changing welded parts.
The welding room is protected and equipped with automatic smoke curtains and a smoke exhaust system.
In this configuration, standard devices should be used as much as possible for the robot and its control system, while special robots need to be designed for specific occasions.
However, auxiliary equipment such as end effectors and other peripheral equipment vary greatly depending on the application and the characteristics of the workpiece.

The workstation embodies the concept of intelligent manufacturing, employing bus control to capture all electrical parameters of the welding machine. Through curve comparison, it transmits OK and NG signals to the host computer, enabling data detection, storage, and traceability, which has been well received by the end customer.
