Automated production line for gas spring welding
This gas spring welding automated production line is a fully automated welding production line customized by Shanghai Haojing Robotics according to customer requirements. The worker places the steel pipe into the storage bin, and the robot picks up the pipe using a specially designed gripping fixture at station A, simultaneously rotating it to a vertical position. The robot then rotates to the spot welding machine’s welding area. Product Introduction
In the automated gas spring welding production line, workers manually place steel pipes into the storage bin. A robot then picks up the steel pipes using a specially designed gripping fixture at station A, simultaneously rotating the pipes to a vertical position. The robot then rotates to the welding area of the spot welding machine and inserts the steel pipes into the positioning rod sleeve at the base of the spot welding machine from top to bottom. The positioning rod sleeve extends approximately 100mm beyond the base surface and contains a retractable positioning rod made of optical shaft, approximately the same height as the product. Driven by an electric cylinder, once the product is detected to be fully inserted into the bottom of the positioning sleeve, the lower electrode clamps the steel pipe, while the electric cylinder at the bottom pushes out the positioning rod. Simultaneously, the upper electrode presses down and welds.
When the electrode clamps the steel pipe, the robot releases the gripper, returns to the loading area, grabs tool B to pick up the steel pipe, and rotates it to a vertical position. The robot then moves to the welding area and uses the gripper at station A to remove the welded steel pipe. It rotates the gripper and places the steel pipe at station B into the welding area. The robot then rotates again to place the welded steel pipe into the finished product frame. After placing it, it rotates back to the loading area and grabs tool A to continue picking up materials. This cycle repeats to complete the entire automated welding process.
