The gas spring welding automated production line is a fully automated welding line custom-designed by Shanghai Haojing Robotics according to customer requirements. Operators manually load steel tubes into the storage bin. The robot uses a specialized gripping fixture at Station A to pick up the steel tube while simultaneously rotating it to a vertical position. The robot then rotates to the spot welder’s welding area. Product Overview
Gas Spring Welding Automation Production Line: Operators manually load steel tubes into the storage bin. The robot uses a specialized gripping fixture at Station A to pick up the tube while simultaneously rotating it to a vertical position. The robot then rotates to the spot welder’s welding area. The tube is inserted top-down onto the positioning rod sleeve located at the base of the spot welder. The positioning rod sleeve extends approximately 100mm above the base surface. The sleeve houses a telescopic positioning rod made of a shaft, approximately matching the product height and driven by an electric cylinder. Upon detecting full insertion into the sleeve base, the lower electrode clamps the tube while the bottom electric cylinder extends the positioning rod. The upper electrode simultaneously presses down to complete welding.
Upon clamping by the lower electrode, the robot releases its gripper, rotates to the loading zone, picks up the B fixture holding the steel pipe, and rotates the pipe to a vertical position. The robot then rotates to the welding zone. Using the gripper at Station A, it removes the welded steel pipe, rotates to grasp the fixture, places the steel pipe from Station B into the welding zone, The robot rotates again to place the welded pipe into the finished product bin. After placement, it rotates back to the loading area, picks up the A-station fixture to continue material retrieval, and cycles through these operations to complete the full automated welding process.
